7 hour count down...

7 hours in counting! Our Japanese exchange student Maiko will be getting here... So that means I have 7 hours to clean both bathrooms, our masterbathroom, take out all the trashes, sweep and mop floors, vacume, laundry and run to the store... Good thing I did the other stuff yesterday! We have had an interesting month so far and just one more day to be included in our one "big bad embarassing moment" we call May. Our finances have litteraly put us in a huge bind... we have been given some financial advice from Joe's parents to help us get back on our feet. It was hard because Joe was only working 6 - 8 hours a week during finals so that put us in a huge bind the first month of summer. Mom and Dad helped us get back on our feet and we are very greatful for them helping us out a lot! I wish we could make it down to see Joe's sisters when they come!
I always have to mention our beautiful daughter Zoey... of course so here we go again! Zoey has been crawling for a few days now (about a week and half) and is good at it now. She is very fast (especially when you put her down the hall and turn on the bath water. She loves baths!). Zoey is starting to pull herself up and tries to hold on to things as long as possible. She loves being in the same room as us and will follow me pretty much anywhere in the house. She hates grass and when I put her down on it she does a T-P only touching with her hands and her feet. It is pretty funny to wath her crawl that wa. I put her on the grass atleast once a day when we play out side to get her used to the feeling. Another thing I found out is that she hates the sound of a flushing toilet and the vacume. We have been able to make it up to campus to see all of the Summer Citizens that I was friends with last summer when I was pregnant (they all purchased gifts for her and now she has about 10 grandmas and grandpas).
We are so excited to go to Syracruse, UT this weekend with our exchange student to see Regan be blessed. She makes #2 for Grandma and Grandpa Tanaka (Great Grand Kids that is). Mom and Erik are going to be in town next week because Erik has transerstudent orientation at the U. We are so thrilled that he got in there and now can be a "runin ute"! He can't wait to see Zoey and i'm sure if Zoey knew what was going on then she would be excited to see her uncle Erik too.
Well I have to go now the house is taunting me saying, "clean clean clean me me me me".
