Umm... I can't think of a title for this blog post!

I think that I will start this blog differently this time instead of saying, "We have been very busy as usuall" so I think this time I'll start our blog like this:

KABOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoey took her first step on wednesday... AHHHHH! I can't beleive that our little girl is almost walking! She will be 1 on August 24. It is amazing how much she has grown over the months. I always tell new parents that they have to take a picture a day for the first year or so. Mom got Zoey a hiking backpack so that when we go hiking we can put her in it and go. We used it for the first time on 7/12/08 we hiked near first damn and hiked all the way north to Green canyon. It was a lot of fun!

As of today our exchange student Miko has a week and a few days left of her stay here in the US. We are VERY sad that she is leaving us to go back to Japan. She wants to come back and visit and possibly move in with us in the near future.

Grandma Tanaka came over with mom to visit. It was a lot of fun to see both of them! Joe and I decided that we are going to go to Colorado for Christmas this year so that Zoey can be with her Granpa Kemp on Christmas Day. Oh by the way... her Grandpa Kemp has been out of a job for a few months but just recently announced that he got a new job! YAY!

Raines side... We went down on Sunday to see Joe's family. His sister Miriam was intown with her two kids from NY. It was so much fun seeing them! Jacob is the youngest of the two and he is absolutly adorable! Joe's brother Don (got married on June 22, 2008) just announced that his wife Myla is expecting! That makes two expecting mothers on the Raines side! YAY!!!!!!!!! (I would just like to add that i'm glad that i'm not pregnant this summer).

Well I got to go Zoey just woke up from her nap and is jumping on her bed.
