Joe and I were on ksl this morning looking for a vacuume. Ours "does not suck"! We got a cheap vacuume when were we were first married. I have heard of Irobot Roombas but didn't think much of them. For those of you that don't know what an Irobot Roomba is, it is a robot that cleans your floors. You can program it to vaccume and sweep floors at any specific time. There is a home base attachment that you can get and when the robotic vacume needs to be charged it will automadically return to the home base and charge itself until the next time it is sceduled to clean. Some people schedule it to clean while they are sleeping. It sences walls and objects in the way. It also sences where it has been and will automatically know the size of the room. It also changes itself from sweeping floors to vaccuming floors. It came with a virtual wall that you can set up so if you don't want it to go down the hallway while the baby is asleep it won't.
The best part of this robot/vaccume... we got it on a great deal! The woman was trying to get rid of it since she lives in a 3 story house she didn't want to move the base all over and thought it would be a pain... we got it for $75! They usually are about $500 we have been playing with it for a while and love our new "BOT". Oh and the coolest feature... it sences stairs and will not fall down them oh and it also sences the dirtest part of the floor and will spend more time clean it and use more power to clean it!
