Prop 8

Hey guys... okay first off I don't want to hurt any feelings with this post. I'm not sure how many people come on this site, but maybe I blog for more of my views and thoughts than anyone else. The great people of CA have voted and the verdict is in. Proposition 8 was shut down by a slim margin. Yes, the LDS church didn't want it to pass so they put money into the cause. They have the right to do so. The church authorities encouraged the members in CA to vote, "yes" on proposition 8 passed. I honestly think that the people that wanted Prop 8 to fail... fail to realize that the LDS church also has the right to freedom of speech. They can prance around with their signs and say crude things but the church will not change its stand on the issue. I wish that they would act mature and protest in a nice way. (Some may say that nice is chainging themselfs to the street where they may or may not get hit by cars). The right to freedom of speech is one of the freedoms that Americans so richly enjoy and is part of what makes our country so great! Be mature and protest "nicely" and please stop making LDS church members around USA victims.

And know that I honestly beleive that marriage is between Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
