Single parenting

First off I would like to state that famlies in the military are not "single parents" when the spouce deployes. There is a differenace between a single parent and a military speretation.Joe left for training on June 26th for Tacoma, WA, and will return on July 24th (this saturday). I can't wait to have him home, I miss him so much! I haven't been away from him this long since his mission when I waited for him for 18 months. Yeah that was bad, but we didn't have a toddler and we wern't expecting another child yet either. I got to talk to him yesterday for a minute. I felt bad while talking to him since I had to tell him that we wouldn't be able to make it to the graduation since his dad is in so much pain after again being diagnosed with cancer. Also his mission companion just commited suicide so I felt bad with all the news I had to share with my handsome prince.

I keep looking at all the letters that we wrote to each other while he was on his mission. Its kind of funny to start reading them and how short they are and then see how long they get later. The ones where we knew we were going to get married are like 4 pages long! Our kids are going to have fun reading them one day.
