Phinias and Ferb would be so proud of us because we are spending the 104 days of summer vacation sucking up every bit of warmth we can. Joseph was gone for a month this summer for LDAC (Leadership Development A (something) Course). It was lonely but 1 and I spent a week with Megan and her kids in CA and then two weeks with my mom who came out to visit us and then one week at home with just us. It was nice to have the time go by fast... but let me tell you him being away for a month was preparing me for when he is gone longer with the Army. We decided that we would give him the home coming that he didn't get with his mission home coming and have 1 hold a big sign. She was so excited to have her daddy home!
