Stay At Home Mom's Blog...

Okay, into the dark abyss of blogging about being a Stay -At-Home mom... Does anyone else get little comments from others about how stay at home mom's don't do any work or feel a little bit under minded from comments made about not getting paid? Well I was watching Nanny 9-1-1 the other day and the father was disregarding his wife because she wasn't the bread maker of the family. Then when it came to be his day to stay at home and be with the children he got a kick in the pants about how hard being a stay at home parent was! Well I have been asked by some people to post the activities on our "day out" "day in activities" that I do with my own children. So here are some suggestions:

Day ins:

-Make a fish tank on the wall using construction paper, crayons, scissors and ticky tac (no tape so you don't ruin the walls!)

Coffee filters and recycled brown bags:
Color the inner circle of the coffee filters different colors and then the out side different colors also. Makes a cute little flower dosen't it? Stick that sucker on a recycled brown paper bag and then pow! You have a flower on a dirt back ground! Easy peasy take it Easy craft!

Work of Art at home!
Take a white canvas or a poster board.
Mudding puddy
plastic fork or a knife
Spread mudding puddy over the canvas doing different designs and swivels
Let the canvas dry over night or for about 5 hours.
Water colors (or tempura paints) and the the kids go wild!
Let dry and hang up! Then come up with some sappy story about how the child was inspired and then sell it on ebay for $1,000!
