Diapers and Little Stomps

In order for me to get to know more people in the ward, I invited people over to have play dates that have kids around the same age as Z and M. It was a lot of fun! Turns out there are people in our apartment complex that are LDS too and in our little branch. I have been thinking about switching M to cloth diapers to save money and one of my new friends introduced me to the brand that I LOVE! Its called the FLIP system and I honestly say that I should have invested in this system with Z. Some people think we are crazy for washing out the poopy diapers, but honestly I don't mind it that much because when your potty training a child you have to wash out poopy under pants so to me its the same thing. Anyway the FLIP system is in one word AMAZING!

We have made some really great friends here who have shown us the way around. We as a family are trying to be more "Green" and even eat more "organic". There is a store in town owned by a branch member and they sell only organic produce... I AM SO EXCITED to shop there! Every week they have a box of veggies and fruits that are locally grown. Its a mystery box, and I have heard nothing but good things about it!

Z. Started pre school here and she LOVES it. Her teachers are super nice, and seem to enjoy having her in class. She is starting to write her name and can identify most of the letters of the alphabet. She loves to learn and is getting pretty witty with all the comments that come out of her mouth.

M. "Little stomp" loves her new shoes and the way that they sound when they hit the hard wood floor so her new nick name is "Little stomp". Today she came to nursery with me, I took her just to see how she would do and she did great!
