Halloween Birthday Party

One of the greatest things that happened during the deployment was meeting new friends. When Soldiers deploy others step in and take care of the families. We got to know a family in another unit that took us under their wing and helped us throughout the months. With the autism and Joe being gone, these wonderful families took the kids for a few hours when I needed a brake and some time to myself or some time at the stables with the horses. I would not be able to make it if it were not for the wonderful strong support system that I had. From the other military families and my family and Joe's families, I cannot share or express how thankful I am for my support system.
