Nothing more refreshing...

I just have a question... is there nothing more refreshing than having your husband call home while he is in a war zone? Let me just answer that... NO. The call home days are the best days of the week and even the month! I really love when Joe skypes home or calls home. During the deployment he wasn't able to do so on a daily basis. He called home about twice a week and would skype every few weeks. It is not that he didn't want to, it was that he didn't have the time or the capability to do so. I remember one time when he did Skype home, I put it on the tablet and then put the tablet standing on the table so that the kids could eat with their daddy. It was truly amazing to feel like he was there in person. The next day, our daughter had come into the room dressed up... now, remember she was two at the time and she dressed herself (in my defense) and NO, we did not go out dressed this way... This was the conversation: Me- Where are you going all dressed up? Her- TO SEE MY DADDY!
