March/April

Wow has this month been very busy and interesting! Joe and I woke up to our CO alarms going off. We thought that it was just another alarm malfunction but this one was annoying because it happened at 5:30 AM on a Saturday. The thing that threw me off was all of the alarms were going off not just one. I called Logan City dispatch and they brought over a police car and a fire truck to check it out. Zoey and I sat in the car and the fire crew and Joe went in side to figure out what was wrong. They figured out that our CO levels in our house were at 40PPM and not the usual 9PPM. I am glad that we got our little girl out of the house! I called our manager and a man came over and told us it was the water heater that kicked on over night and leaked some CO into the house. Then we were told that it could have also been a lint fire in the dryer. Scary! But I am glad that everything is okay now.
Summer is just around the corner. I have decided that the Logan sunshine is just a hallucination (Spelling) because it looks all bright and warm out side and then when you go outside you find yourself running back in because of the wind.
Zoey is doing great! She can scoot and gets on her hands and knees and tries to crawl. I don't think that she has built up enough courage to actually do it though. Joe and I get on the floor with her and crawl around and then she just falls over laughing. Her favorite things to do are spit up on Joe and I and put EVERYTHING in her mouth! She is now 7 1/2 months old and is getting her first tooth. We are very proud of our little girl who now sits up all by her self. I can't wait until she starts to walk! Zoey was very spoiled when her Grandma Kemp came to visit. It will be nice when we are able to go to Colorado this summer and see Grandpa Kemp and all of my friends.
We went to Joe's parents house for General Conference weekend and had a lot of fun with Jude, Jer + Kids, Grandma and Grandpa Raines, Bekah, RJ and Mylee. Zoey loves to visit her cousins and play with her grandparents!
