2013
Okay I'm terrible at blogging... now you also know how I am at journaling... We will just cover the last few months in one huge post.
November 2012- We moved from Michigan City, IN to Utah. It is quite the change! No Norter Dame fans... hmmmm missing the Fighting Irish a little bit!
December 2012- Christmas the kids got WAY too many gifts this year...
Jan 2013- Joe left to start his deployment to Afghanistan. He trained for a while at Fort Hood, TX. We organized the entire deployment ceremony and it turned out really well. Dad was able to come in for it and we enjoyed seeing grandpa!
I joined a gym and LOVE IT! I signed up for a team weight loss class and have weight doing it. I hope to be able to beat Joe when he gets home.
Feb 2013- The kids and I went to Texas to visit Joe for a week before his deployment. The highlight of the trip was going to Sea World and spending time with Daddy! At Sea World #1 got called up on stage to help out with the show! What a lucky little sink! We really loved watching the dolphins and it was a very over cast day so there wasn't a lot of people there. The Orca Whale show was fun until the females decided to stop performing. I was very sad to see that the tank is so small and they had about seven Orcas in it.
March- My birthday, not a huge deal I've gone through 28 of these things now and since having children I have come to call them, "put your mother into a huge amount of pain days". I also registered for my last semester of college and will be graduating with a BS degree in University Studies with 3 emphasis- Psychology, Sports Medicine and Para-medicine.
-Signed up for my first race in May to raise money for the Wounded Warrior program and, yes, we will be wearing pink camo shirts.
-#2 and I were able to go to #1's school field trip to the museum. It was a lot fun! #2 kept calling the skeleton her "boy friend".

-Enjoyed a fun time with friends for Easter. My mom was able to come to town and the easter bunny made a stop at our house. I am greatful for our military "family" that has adopted us and made us feel welcome while Joe is deployed.
We have been blessed to live near Joe's family because we are able to go and visit grandma more often. I have started working in the "family garden" while the kids play. It is a lot of fun getting to be around some of our family more often.
